We take health concerns seriously and continually work closely with health professionals and our airline partners to ensure the safety and well-being of our passengers and employees. We maintain a robust and thorough cleaning protocol for the terminal and all of our facilities, following the guidance by public health experts at the federal Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Indiana State Department of Health and the Vanderburgh County Health Department.
Social distancing posters are displayed throughout the terminal.
When you fly EVV, you fly with your friends, neighbors and family members who truly care about you and the communities in which we serve. Your health and safety will always be our top priority, and we are working diligently to keep the terminal safe and clean. We have implemented a number of enhancements to our facilities and operations to continually reduce the spread of germs and bacteria and to continue providing you a safe experience and overall peace of mind when at the airport and traveling. That’s the EVVantage.

Our team of maintenance employees are working diligently throughout the airport to continually provide a safe, sanitized terminal area, focusing on high touch areas like handrails, seating, escalators, elevator buttons and restroom doors, using hospital-grade disinfectant.
EVV has added electrostatic sprayers, which provide the most effective and efficient cleaning method to disinfect a countless number of surfaces within the terminal. Research indicates that electrostatic application is eight times more effective than using an uncharged sprayer.
EVV’s air purification system is the gold standard in air purification technology, delivering a clean, safe indoor air environment. This system by Global Plasma Solutions was the first air purification solution to test SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19), achieving a 99.4% reduction of the surface strain within 30 minutes.

Clear protective shields have been installed in many key high traffic areas, including many airline ticket counters and rental car agency counters.
Airport guests have the option of credit card only pay lanes, alleviating in person contact. We also recently launched our new EVVip Parking Loyalty Program, which allows for online account registration and management, no touch automated entry and pay.
