Airport Master Plan

Evansville-Vanderburgh Airport Authority

What is an Airport Master Plan?

The Evansville Regional Airport (EVV) is currently underway with the development of an Airport Master Plan (AMP). An AMP is a comprehensive study of an airport that describes the short-, medium-, and long-term development plan to meet future demand, ensuring development is:

  • Planned and Logical
  • Feasible and flexible
  • Fiscally responsible
  • Environmentally compatible
  • Community Supported
The Plan is anticipated to take 18-months and will provide a framework to guide future airport development that will satisfy aviation demand, while considering environmental and socioeconomic impacts. The AMP will follow Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) standards and guidance for approval of the aviation forecast and airport layout plan.

Attend a Meeting

The AMP will provide 3 opportunities for the Master Plan team to update the public on the major findings of the study and to gather feedback.
