Airport Master Plan

Evansville-Vanderburgh Airport Authority

What is an Airport Master Plan?

Evansville-Vanderburgh Airport Authority District (EVAAD) is currently developing its Airport Master Plan (AMP), a comprehensive airport study to determine short, medium to long-term development plans to meet future physical growth needs. The Airport Master Plan will ensure that future development is:

  • Planned and logical
  • Feasible and flexible
  • Fiscally responsible
  • Environmentally compatible
  • Community supported
The Plan is anticipated to be completed by the end of 2025 and will provide a framework to guide future airport development, satisfying airport usage and considering environmental and socioeconomic impacts. The AMP will follow Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) standards and guidance for approval of the aviation forecast and airport layout plan.

Attend a Meeting

The AMP provides two opportunities for the Master Plan Team to update the Public on the major findings of the study and to gather community feedback.

The first meeting to introduce the Airport Master Plan was held on May 19, with a second, follow-up meeting to be facilitated in the months following. The date of the second meeting is TBD and will be posted here online once scheduled.
