EVANSVILLE, IN – Evansville Regional Airport (EVV), in collaboration with local agency partners and members of the airport’s For EVVeryone Accessibility Advisory Committee, will host Terminal Treats, an all-new sensory- and allergy-friendly Halloween event created for families with sensory sensitivities and allergies.
Set for Sunday, Oct. 26 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time, Terminal Treats invites families with sensory sensitivities and allergies to the EVV terminal for a fun-filled, non-scary trick-or-treat experience designed with accessibility in mind. Guests can expect carefully selected allergy-friendly treats, sensory-friendly toys and a welcoming environment for families and attendees of all ages and abilities.
“This event embodies EVV’s commitment to inclusivity and accessibility,” said Leslie Fella, EVV Director of Marketing and Air Service. “Terminal Treats was created with direct input from our Airport Accessibility Advisory Committee, who is committed to ensuring every family feels comfortable, supported and welcomed.”
EVV’s For EVVeryone Accessibility Advisory Committee includes local agencies, organizations and advocates who work together with the airport team to identify ways EVV can enhance the airport experience for travelers of all abilities. Through initiatives like Terminal Treats, the committee is helping EVV expand accommodations, elevate customer experience and provide programs that foster community connections.

Activities: Allergy-friendly treats, sensory-safe activities and festive fun in a calm, welcoming setting.
Registration is not required. Friendly costumes are welcome but optional. Treats and giveaways will be available at attendees’ discretion.
