FORT WORTH – American Airlines will celebrate a customer service victory in Evansville, Indiana, Thursday, June 27, 2024, as the airline announced that Evansville Regional Airport (EVV) is among the top domestic airports to be honored for outstanding customer experience during the first quarter of 2024. The program is called the Customer Cup, the winners of which are recognized each quarter.
The Customer Cup award recognizes airport teams for their performance in serving customers at the airport across primary customer touch points like on-time performance and customer feedback. Evansville, which is operated by Envoy Air, a wholly owned subsidiary of American Airlines Group, was awarded the Customer Cup again this year after recently winning in the third quarter of 2023.
“Since 2008, American’s Customer Cup program has recognized top-performing airports across the world,” said Envoy Air Senior Vice President, Customer Services, John Jaynes. “To win a Cup, stations must demonstrate excellence in safety, operational performance and customer satisfaction. This win would not be possible without strong collaboration between team Envoy and Evansville Regional Airport. Please join me in congratulating team EVV on another Cup win.”
A Customer Cup celebration is planned for Thursday, June 27, 2024, at 2 p.m. CDT at Evansville Regional Airport to recognize the team.
