Notice is hereby given that the Evansville Vanderburgh Airport Authority (EVAA) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from interested parties in the operation, management and development of Thunderbolt Pass Golf Course located at 6901 Petersburg Road, Evansville, Indiana. This 18 hold public golf course has been in business since 1974. EVAA therefore is inviting Qualified Operators to submit proposals for leasing, improving, and developing the facility.

The successful operator will be selected in part on the financial capabilities to operate the golf course, the operator’s experience, and vision the operator sets forth as well as measurable minimum standards and improvements the operator commits to perform.

Responses to this notice will be received by the Airport Administration office located at 7801 Bussing Drive, Evansville, IN  47725 until 3:00 pm CST on October 4, 2023.

An optional Pre-Proposal Meeting will be held on Monday September 18, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. Participants may attend online through the Zoom platform (website or application) by using the following link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/4243204245. Proposers are encouraged to attend the Pre-Proposal meeting but not required to attend this meeting.

One original and one electronic copy (pdf format on flash drive) of all documents listed on the “Proposal Sheet” – Appendix B must be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing on the outside, the date advertised for the opening of the proposals and the words, "EVAA Thunderbolt Pass Golf Course RFP, Evansville Regional Airport". If mailed or delivered via a courier delivery company, the sealed envelope containing the required proposal documents shall be enclosed in another envelope and addressed to the Evansville Regional Airport, 7801 Bussing Drive, Evansville, IN 47725-6799. It will be the sole responsibility of Proposers to ensure proposals are in the possession of the Evansville Regional Airport by the appointed date and time.
